Faq for our Readers. Emoticons were first suggested by Scott Fahlman, Carnegie
Melon University, Pittsburg, PA and its use started in E-mails, BBS (Bulletin Board Posts)
way back in 1981 to use Expressions in Electronic world. Many more Smileys were invented
as time flew and use of Smileys caught on quickly and spread throughout the world of
Online communication in E-mails, Message Boards, Chat Rooms, Messengers, etc.
